  La ingeniería civil es una de las disciplinas que mayor influencia han tenido en la vertebración del territorio. Esto hace que las obras de abastecimiento y comunicación tengan habitualmente una destacada importancia histórica y cultural. Partiendo de la diversa presencia paisajística de las actuaciones de la ingeniería civil, se reflexiona sobre algunos de los posibles relatos culturales y patrimoniales que este legado puede sustentar o en los que puede participar.

  Civil engineering is one of the disciplines that has had the greatest influence on the structuring of the territory. This means that water supply and communication works usually have an outstanding historical and cultural importance. Based on the diverse pre-sence of civil engineering constructions in the landscape, we analyse the possible cultural and heritage narratives that this legacy can support or in which it can participate.
