La labor del Ministerio de Trabajo durante la dictadura de Primo de Rivera (1923-1931)

    El Ministerio de Trabajo, Comercio e Industria sufrió cambios significativos entre 1923 y 1931 que motivaron un incremento de las atribuciones ministeriales. Éstas se localizaron con diferente intensidad en los dos períodos de la dictadura de Primo de Rivera, Directorio Militar y Directorio Civil, creciendo en los años finales del régimen y recuperando el cargo de ministro. El que había sido Subsecretario hasta el momento, Eduardo Aunós Pérez, es nombrado Ministro de Trabajo, Comercio e Industria, convirtiéndose en el artífice de la política social de la Dictadura. El nuevo Estado primorriverista, durante sus dos periodos, promulgó normativa laboral de diferente índole. Una, heredada del régimen anterior; otra, con marcado cariz corporativista.

    The Ministry of Labour, Commerce and Industry underwent significant changes between 1923 and 1931 that led to an increase in ministerial powers. These changes took place during the two periods of Primo de Rivera’s Dictatorship: the Military Directorate and the Civil Directorate. The increase in power took place in the final years of the regime, when the Ministry recovered the position of minister. Eduardo Aunós Pérez, who was the Undersecretary until then, was appointed Minister of Labour, Commerce and Industry, becoming the architect of the social policy of the Dictatorship. The new primorriverista state promulgated labour regulations of different kinds: One, inherited from the previous regime; another, with a corporate emphasis.
