    En las últimas décadas la reconversión de las antiguas infraestructuras ferroviarias en desuso en Vías Verdes se ha extendido por todo el Estado en general y la Comunidad andaluza en particular. En comarcas como la Sierra Suroeste de Sevilla se ha emprendido la adecuación paulatina de este tipo de infraestructuras. Actualmente, por su territorio discurre parte de las vías verdes de La Sierra y La Campiña (ambas biprovinciales), y se han emprendido los trabajos iniciales para adaptar la Vía Verde de La Cal (en este caso estrictamente sevillana). La existencia de varias vías verdes hace apropiado su análisis en un territorio que se acerca a los 100.000 habitantes, repartido entre ocho municipios, a pesar de que estos itinerarios, debido a sus características, sobrepasan generalmente la extensión de una comarca. En este trabajo se cuantifica, a partir del emplazamiento de los principales accesos por carretera dentro de la comarca, el número de residentes en núcleos que se localizan a menos de 5, 10 y 15 minutos de los mismos mediante desplazamiento de los usuarios en vehículo particular. Asimismo, se abordará la posible interconexión de estas infraestructuras a partir de distintos soportes (caminos rurales, vías pecuarias, carreteras secundarias…), en especial según se plantea en el Plan Andaluz de la Bicicleta. El estudio en profundidad de estas vías verdes permitirá conocer las posibles conexiones existentes y algunas de las mejoras que deberían emprenderse. Las características de estas infraestructuras propician que su vinculación sea difícil, aunque debería abordarse la creación de vías de conexión que favorezcan la constitución de una red. Esta necesidad alcanza mayor sentido en espacios rurales, como es el caso de este territorio comarcal, donde la aparición de estas rutas representa un activo importante para la promoción de la movilidad sostenible y el fomento del cicloturismo como actividad económica emergente.

    In the last decades, the reconversion of the old disused railway infrastructures in greenways has spread throughout the State in general and in particular the Andalusian Community. In regions such as the Mountains Southwest of Seville, the gradual adaptation of this type of infrastructures has been undertaken. Currently, part of the greenways of La Sierra and La Campiña (both bi-provincial) run through its territory, and initial work has been undertaken to adapt the La Cal Greenway (in this case strictly sevillian). The existence of several greenways makes its analysis appropriate in a territory that approaches 100,000 inhabitants, distributed among eight municipalities, despite the fact that these itineraries, due to their characteristics, generally exceed the size of a region. This work quantifies, based on the location of the main road accesses within the region, the number of residents in cores that are located less than 5, 10 and 15 minutes from them by means of the displacement of users in a private vehicle. Likewise, the possible interconnection of these infrastructures will be addressed from different supports (rural roads, livestock trails, secondary roads ...), especially as stated in the Andalusian Bicycle Plan. The in-depth study of these greenways will allow knowing the possible existing connections and some of the improvements that should be undertaken. The characteristics of these infrastructures make their connection difficult, although the creation of connection routes that allow the creation of a network should be addressed. This need reaches greater meaning in rural areas, as is the case of this regional territory, where the appearance of these routes represents an important asset for the promotion of sustainable mobility and the promotion of bicycle tourism as an emerging economic activity.
