We studied the possibility of using virtual reality equipment, more specifically the HTC Vive headset, for the rehabilitation of cervical injuries. We designed a small Unity application that measures the head rotation in space in three axes while the patient repeats certain movements and creates a report with all the values. We tested the program with seventeen asymptomatic individuals. Finally, we compared these data with the CROM (Cervical Range of Movement) values present in the literature. The ranges measured fall within these values, except for the neck extension. We conclude that this difference is probably due to reasons other than the headset precision, confirming that the HTC Vive is a good tool to measure CROM.
