  • Resumen
    • It has been proved that intonation and prosody and also body language are some key aspects for the acquisition of a proper pronunciation at segmental level in L2 learning. Moreover, the use of speech tools to support the learning process leads the students to further improvements, but this process can also be used as feedback to improve those tools. This study involves some native English speakers who are learning Catalan pronunciation. All the aspects mentioned above have taken part in the learning process —which has been conducted by member of the FONCAT research group— in order to see to which extent they interact with the learning of pronunciation. The experience has dealt with exercises and tests in terms of both perception and production of the target sounds.
