• The analysis of the natural contents, the tufa and cultural, of the Frías Historical Place shows the importance at different time and spatial scales of natural elements in the historical progress of the all monument. The absence of integrated natural and cultural issues in the management and conservation policies call for a new integrating approach that bring together the tuff and artistic elements in the assessment and management of the whole.
