  The present paper deals with the relationship between the myth of Pygmalion and Galatea end science fiction cinema. The films "La piel que habito" (2011), "Her" (2013) and "Blade Runner (2049)" (2017) will be analysed to obtain the mythological references. Although the myth is usually represented in modern times as a love story, it currently has a new relevance because of the rise of digitalization, artificial intelligence creation and dermatologic surgery. This questions the limits between the model, the artifitial product, love and beauty.

  El presente trabajo analiza la relación entre el mito de Pigmalión y Galatea en el cine de ciencia ficción. Se analizarán las películas "La piel que habito" (2011), "Her" (2013) y "Blade Runner (2049)" (2017) para obtener las referencias míticas. Aunque el mito suele representarse en tiempos modernos como una historia de amor, actualmente adquiere nueva relevancia debido al auge de la digitalización, la creación de inteligencia artificial y la cirugía dermatológica, lo que cuestiona el límite entre el modelo, su imagen artificial, el amor y la belleza.
