Proceeding from the topic of Ignacio de Loyola as purifying fire and promise of renewal that has been fixed in the official biography of Pedro de Ribadeneira and reported in the “graphical vitae” published in Rome and Antwerp, this article suggests an interpretation on the feats of his beatification in Andalucía (the ancient Jesuit Province Baetica) us a collective sensory experience of his glorification and the holocaust of charity that his disciples has been distributed around the world. It also focuse on the roll played by colleges and congregations linked with the Compañía in order to publicly demonstrate the new “civitas christiana” burned and reformed.
