Resumen de ¿Puede el Arte cambiar la manera de interpretar el mundo?

A lo largo de los siglos, el arte ha sido la representación estética del sentimiento y la reflexión del ser humano, mostrado en museos nacionales, iglesias, exposiciones universales, bienales o centros culturales. De diferentes maneras, los artistas expresan lo material o lo invisible como respuesta al complejo mundo externo que les rodea. Por eso, la libertad con la que afrontan los grandes temas que preocupan a la sociedad a la que pertenecen, da una visión de la realidad que contrasta con la política de los estados que tradicionalmente han tratado de utilizar la expresión cultural y artística para reforzar las ideologías dominantes. El museo contemporáneo igualmente adopta modelos económicos que benefician su gestión y la rentabilidad del lugar de emplazamiento, relegando a un segundo plano el hecho artístico. El artículo analiza las distintas formas de gestionar el arte utilizadas por los estados, las vanguardias o los artistas contemporáneos, encaminadas todas ellas a dar su versión de los distintos paradigmas que conforman el mundo.

Throughout the centuries, art has been the aesthetic representation of human being feeling and reflection, showed in national museums, churches, universal exhibitions, biennials or cultural centers. In different ways, artists express the material or the invisible as a response to the complex external world that surrounds them. Therefore, the freedom with which they confront the great issues that concern the society which they belong, gives a view of reality that contrasts with the politics of states, which have traditionally tried to use cultural and artistic expression to reinforce ideologies dominant. The article analyzes the different ways of managing art used by states, avant-gardes or contemporary artists, all of them aimed at interpreting the different paradigms that make up the world.
