  O projeto Florença, coordenado por Mauro Cappelletti, em colaboração com Bryant Garth e Nicolò Trocker, foi de extrema relevância para o estudo do direito processual em diversos países, retratando, a partir de estudos empíricos, em três ondas renovatórias, os entraves para o acesso à Justiça. Quarenta anos após o início da divulgação das pesquisas, o presente trabalho objetiva verificar, a partir da ótica brasileira, se muitos dos entraves de cada uma das três ondas renovatórias foram resolvidos ou se ainda hoje subsistem, e em que medida alguns permanecem

  Project Florence, coordinated by Mauro Cappelletti, together with Bryant Garth and Nicolò Trocker, was very important for the study of procedural law in many countries, depicting, through empirical data, in three renewal waves, the barriers in access to justice. After forty years following the disclosure of the research, this paper aims, through the Brazilian academic perspective, to check the status of the obstacles for each of the three renewal waves today, whether they still subsist to date, and the extent some of them remain.
