El present treball ofereix una panoràmica general de la vila empordanesa de Rupià i els seus voltants a la segona meitat del segle XIV, a través de l'analisi d'un capbreu del bisbe de Girona. Mitjançant un estudi de conjunt de la vila i del camp, es posa atenció en la caracterització del patrimoni pagés (la seva quantificació, organització i distribució en l'espai immediat i dins la vila, i l'extensió i la naturalesa de les terres) i en la importància de la connexió entre la ruralia i l'espai vilatà.
This paper offers a general view of the empordanese village of Rupià and its surroundings in the second half of the 14th century, through the analysis of a capbreu by the bishop of Girona. Through an overall study of the village and the countryside, attention is paid to the characterization of the peasant heritage (its quantification, organization and distribution in the immediate space and within the village, and the extent and nature of the lands). and in the importance of the connection between the rural and the village life.
