  El COVID-19 está teniendo una importante repercusión en el turismo español; de ahí que el objetivo de esta investigación sea analizar este aspecto en la sostenibilidad del sector hotelero mediante el caso de la Comunidad de Madrid (España). Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo una investigación cualitativa (para describir y comprender la repercusión del coronavirus en la sostenibilidad del sector hotelero) basada en un análisis exploratorio (que nos ha permitido acercarnos al tema tratado) y en un análisis de contenido (para determinar la sostenibilidad de las empresas hoteleras y conocer las tendencias de las nuevas formas de turismo mediante los cambios en su triple cuenta de beneficios).

  COVID-19 is having a significant impact on Spanish tourism. Hence, the objective of this research is to analyze this aspect in the sustainability of the hotel sector through the case of the Community of Madrid (Spain). To this end, a qualitative research has been carried out (to describe and understand the impact of the coronavirus on the sustainability of the hotel sector) based on an exploratory analysis (which has allowed us to get closer to the topic discussed) and on a content analysis (to determine the sustainability of hotel companies and know the trends of new forms of tourism through changes in their triple profit account).
