    Mi propuesta en este IV Congreso de Historia Militar será mostrar el desarrollo de los asedios y los métodos realizados con estrategia militar, por las tropas del mariscal Pascual Liñán y Dolz de Espejo en Comanja-Sombrero y en San Gregorio-Los Remedios. Dos refugios/fortalezas que resultan emblemáticos no solo para las tropas insurrectas y la guerrilla mexicana (1817-1818) sino para las tropas realistas, por su resistencia de la mano de Javier Mina y Diego Novoa y otros protagonistas como Pedro Moreno y el P. Torres. Su seguimiento e interpretación ha sido realizado mediante la información proporcionada por el destacado militar aragonés en su correspondencia reservada con el mariscal José de la Cruz y con el Virrey Apodaca, que se suman a otras fuentes primarias e historiográficas de indudable interés.

    My proposal in this IV Military History Congress will be to show the development of the sieges and the methods carried out with military strategy, by the troops of Marshal Pascual Liñán and Dolz de Espejo in Comanja-Sombrero and in San Gregorio-Los Remedios. Two shelters / fortresses that are emblematic not only for the insurgent troops and the Mexican guerrillas (1817-1818) but also for the realist troops because of their resistance commanded by Javier Mina and Diego Novoa and other protagonists such as Pedro Moreno and Father Torres. Its followup and interpretation has been carried out through the information provided by the prominent aragonese military man in his reserved correspondence with Marshal José de la Cruz and with Viceroy Apodaca, who join other primary and historiographic sources of undoubted interest.
