Parte de este trabajo fue publicado en el número 25 de la Revista de Folklore (Fundación Joaquín Díaz. Valladolid) en 1983, con el título de “Palabras, usos y giros populares del pueblo de Jódar (Jaén)”.
Ahora lo presentamos corregido y aumentado. También se incluye la presentación que hizo de este trabajo y de su autor, mi compañera y amiga Isabel Herrera, filóloga, perteneciente al grupo Andaraje, y conocedora de la tradición oral en nuestro medio, a la que agradezco su generosidad.
Lo hemos puesto inmediatamente antes de la relación de palabras aquí registradas, ya que en su escrito hace uso de muchas de ellas.

Part of this project was published in the 25th number of Revista Folklore (Joaquín Díaz Valladolid Foundation) in 1983, being the title “Words, uses and popular spins of the Spanish village fo Jódar (Jaén)”. Now, we show it corrected and grown. It is included too the presentation that made about this project and its author my colleague and friend Isabel Herrera, philologist, part of the Andaraje group and aware of the oral tradition in our setting, so that, I thank her for her generosity. It is written just before the list of words registered here, since in her document makes use of many of them.
