Resumen de 1472: Capitulacions de la Ciutat de Vich amb el rei d'Aragó Joan II

The principality of Catalonia suffered a civil war during ten years ( 1462-1472) against the king John 11, father of the future Catholic King, Ferdinand. The Catalan Government was defeated step by step, when reconquering the army of John II city by city. For the surrendering of the cities pacts were established between the city councillors and the royal administration. In this article there are transcribed the chapters of the city of Vich, thanks to the discovery of a document of the end of the XVth century preserved in a private historical archive. It is the first time that these surrendering chapters are published. Note that the royal secretary that wrote the document was Bernat Boyl, who would have an important role in the second voyage of discovery of the New World with Columbus in 1493.

La principauté de la Catalogue a souffert une guerre civile pendant dix ans (1462-1472) contre son souverain le roi Jean II, père du futur roi catholique Ferdinand. Le Gouvernement catalan fut vaincu quand l'armée du roi a reconquis le territoire ville a ville. Pour la capitulation des villes des pactes furent faits entre les conseilleurs des villes et l'administration royale. Dans cet article est transcrite la capitulation de la ville de Vich, grâce a qu'on a découvert un document origine! du dernier tiers du siècle XV, préservé dans un archive historique privé. C'est donc la première fois que cette capitulation est publiée. On doit noter que le secrétaire royal qui a écrit cette capitulation est Bernat Boyl, personnage qui a eu un rôle important dans le second voyage de découverte du Nouveau Monde avec Christophe Colomb en 1493.
