Resumen de Derechos humanos, violencia de género y diversidad funcional

  Se realiza un análisis del reconocimiento de los Derechos Humanos de las mujeres y de las personas con diversidad funcional, poniendo de manifiesto que las mujeres con discapacidad tienen mayor riesgo de sufrir violencia de género, al producirse la intersección de las variables “género” y “diversidad funcional”. También se expone la necesidad de llevar a cabo investigaciones en torno a este tema, ya que en efecto existen estudios, pero no todos con la entidad suficiente. Asimismo, se profundiza en distintos elementos que se deben tener en cuenta para comprender a qué nos enfrentamos.

  La metodología utilizada se engloba dentro de un marco feminista, visibilizando la experiencia oculta de las mujeres a través de la historia e investigando los fenómenos que les afectan, integrando la propia voz de la investigadora en sus análisis. La perspectiva de género que la caracteriza, resalta el carácter androcéntrico que ha mantenido la ciencia a lo largo de la historia.

  Las conclusiones extraídas son la necesidad de continuar investigando en este ámbito, entre otros aspectos, para conocer mejor las consecuencias derivadas de la violencia contra la mujer con discapacidad; y el papel fundamental del Trabajo Social y de la Educación Social respecto a este problema social.

  An analysis of the recognition of the Human Rights of women and of people with functional diversity is carried out, showing that women with disabilities have a greater risk of suffering gender violence, as the intersection of the variables “gender” and “ functional diversity". The need to carry out research on this topic is also exposed, since indeed there are studies, but not all with sufficient entity. Likewise, it delves into different elements that must be taken into account to understand what we are facing.

  The methodology used is encompassed within a feminist framework, making visible the hidden experience of women through history and investigating the phenomena that affect them, integrating the researcher's own voice in her analyzes. The gender perspective that characterizes it highlights the androcentric character that science has maintained throughout history.

  The conclusions drawn are the need to continue researching in this area, among other aspects, to better understand the consequences derived from violence against women with disabilities; and the fundamental role of Social Work and Social Education regarding this social problem.
