Este estudio pretende ampliar el conocimiento sobre los patrones entonativos de los enunciados irónicos para averiguar si existe en ellos suficiente información como para que un oyente los identifique fuera de contexto. Dos informantes han leído 10 enunciados, cada uno de los cuales aparecía presentado en dos contextos distintos, uno literal y el otro irónico. Esas grabaciones se ofrecieron a otros 32 informantes, que debían reconocer las intenciones originales entre cuatro opciones. El análisis acústico de los enunciados fue inespecífico. Las respuestas no bastan para garantizar que exista un patrón único lingüísticamente codificado. |

This study attempts to widen our understanding of intonative patterns of ironic utterances to find out whether there is enough information in order for a listener to be able to identify them out of context. Two informants read 10 utterances that featured in two different contexts, one literal and the other ironic. These recordings were offered to another 32 informants, who had to find out the original intentions out of four options. Acoustic analysis of the utterances turned out to be unspecific. The answers don't guarantee the existence of a single, linguistically codified pattern. |
