Resumen de Cultivando una comunidad de práctica en el campus de Gipuzkoa de la UPV/EHU: el caso de la clínica jurídica por la justicia social

  En este artículo, tras una breve aproximación a las nociones de comunidades de práctica (CoP) y educación jurídica clínica, y a sus bases teóricas, describimos una iniciativa reciente puesta en marcha en la Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU)—la Clínica Jurídica por la Justicia Social de la Facultad de Derecho (CJJS)— y analizamos las características que permiten entenderla como una CoP que funciona. En efecto, para el observador de su actividad, la CJJS viene constituida por un grupo de personas, profesores y profesoras y estudiantes de Universidad, que interaccionan continuamente y que comparten una preocupación en relación a la necesidad de renovación de la enseñanza del Derecho y la Criminología, de la cultura jurídica y del modelo de jurista hegemónicos en las Facultades de Derecho de nuestro entorno.

  In this article, after briefly approaching to the notions of communities of practice (CoP) and clinical legal education, and to their theoretical bases, we describe a recent initiative launched at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) —the Legal Clinic for Social Justice of the Faculty of Law (LCSJ)— and we analyse the characteristics that allow it to be understood as a working CoP. In effect, for the observer of its activity, the LCSJ is made up of a group of people, both university staff and students, who continuously interact and who share a concern regarding the need for the renewal of legal and criminological teachings, of the legal culture and of the hegemonic jurist model in the Faculties of Law at our environment.
