Resumen de Educación no formal en los grupos scouts

  Esta investigación ha tenido como objetivo el conocer la opinión de los jóvenes pertenecientes a un grupo Scout de la Región de Murcia, acerca del asociacionismo juvenil. Por ello, se ha dado respuesta a cuestiones como el sentimiento de pertenencia hacia la asociación, que poseen los jóvenes, la educación en valores que reciben en dicha asociación y la relación existente entre el sentimiento de pertenencia al grupo, de los jóvenes y los antecedentes familiares en la asociación Scout. Los datos se han recogido a través de un instrumento de recogida de información de elaboración propia (cuestionario) y se han analizado estadísticamente.

  Los resultados ponen de manifiesto que los jóvenes poseen un alto sentimiento de pertenencia a su grupo Scout, asegurando además que, si en un futuro tuvieran hijos, les gustaría que siguieran su legado y formaran parte de los Scouts. Por otro lado, se ha observado cómo los jóvenes confirman recibir una importante educación en valores desde el grupo Scout, incrementando en ellos el respeto a la diversidad y la ayuda al prójimo. Finalmente cabe destacar que aquellos jóvenes con familiares que con anterioridad habían sido miembros de la asociación, poseen un mayor sentimiento de pertenencia al grupo.

  The main goal of this research is to know the opinion of the members of a Scout group of the Region of Murcia about youth associativism. Thus, issues such as the sense of belonging to the association that young people have, the educational principles they receive and the relationship between the sense of belonging and the family background in the Scout association have been solved. Data have been collected with a personal compilation tool (questionnaire) and they have been statistically analyzed.

  The results show that young people have a high degree of sense of belonging to their Scout association, ensuring also that, if they had childrenin the future, they would like them to join the Scouts. On the other hand, it has been demonstrated how young people believe they are receiving important educational principles from the association, increasing their respect for diversity and helping others. Finally, it is essential to emphasize that those whose relatives have been members of the Scout group have a higher sense of belonging to the association.
