Resumen de Análisis bibliométrico de la producción de tesis doctorales sobre traducción e interpretación en las universidades españolas (1997-2018).

  Se presenta un estudio bibliométrico de las tesis doctorales sobre Traducción e Interpretación realizadas en España e indexadas en la base de datos TESEO. Se recuperaron 389 tesis doctorales. Se pretende realizar un estudio cuantitativo de las tesis en términos de producción institucional, de dirección y de género, tanto en autoría como en dirección. Los resultados revelan un incremento paulatino de la producción de tesis doctorales, donde destaca la Universidad de Granada como mayor productora. Más de la mitad de los directores son ocasionales, con una única tesis dirigida en el área en cuestión. Existe una ligera tendencia de que la autoría y la dirección tengan el mismo género, que es estadísticamente significativa.

  A bibliometric analysis of Translation and Interpreting doctoral theses in Spanish universities is presented. 389 doctoral theses were retrieved from TESEO database. This study is intended to produce a quantitative study of such theses in terms of institutional production, thesis direction and gender, both in authorship and direction. Results reveal gradual increase in the production of doctoral theses – in this respect the University of Granada stands out as the largest producer. More than a half of thesis directors are occasional, with only one thesis supervised in this area.

  There is a statistically significant but slight trend pointing out that the authorship and the direction of doctoral theses share the same gender.
