Se estudian la naturaleza de los rayos X y su absorción por la materia, con especial referencia a las variables que influyen sobre este fenómeno. Con este fundamento se describe la técnica microrradio-gráfica de contacto, y se definen el potencial y el espesor óptimos. Finalmente se indican las aplicaciones cualitativas y cuantitativas del método.

The nature of X-rays and their absorption by matter have been studied with special reference to the variables having an influence on this phenomenon. With this base a description is made of the microradio graphic contact technique, pointing out the best potential and thickness. Finally, the main qualitative and quantitative analytical applications of the method are summarized.
