Resumen de Amenazas emergentes de actores no estatales en Mauritania

  Desde el año 2005 se viene produciendo un incremento de la actividad terrorista en Mauritania, donde el terrorismo yihadista-salafista busca una oportunidad táctica y estratégica para llevar adelante sus operaciones.

  En el mes de febrero del año 2013, un nuevo grupo terrorista: “Ansar al Sharia en las tierras de Bilad Shinqīt”, completa un cuadro de amenazas desestabilizadoras para Mauritania, para la zona del Sahel, y de amenaza directa a Europa.

  Todo grupo terrorista, centra sus esfuerzos en localizar y determinar las vulnerabilidades del oponente e intenta maximizar una determinada utilidad a partir de un conjunto estable de preferencias.

  Analizamos en este trabajo la amenaza que para Mauritania supone la irrupción de grupos terroristas en su territorio como AQMI (Al Qaeda del Magreb Islámico), Ansar Dine (AD), y Ansar al Sharia en las tierras de en Bilad Shinqīt, así como las respuestas y la determinación del Gobierno mauritano para enfrentar estas graves amenazas.

  Since 2005 there has been an increase in terrorist activity in Mauritania, where the jihadi-salafist terrorism seeks for a tactical and strategical opportunity to carry out their operations.

  In February 2013, a new terrorist group “Ansar al Sharia in Bilad lands Shinkīt”, completes a chart of destabilizing threats to the Sahel region, in Mauritania, and a direct threat to Europe.

  Every terrorist group focuses its efforts on locating and determining the opponent´s vulnerabilities, and tries to maximize a particular utility since a stable set of preferences.

  We analyze in this work the threat that implies for Mauritania the emergence of terrorist groups on their territory, such as AQMI (Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb), Ansar Dine (AD), and Ansar al Sharia in the lands of Shinqīt Bilad, as well as Mauritanian Government´s responses and determination to confront these serious threats.
