Resumen de Software educativo como estrategia alternativa para el aprendizaje en las nociones básicas del manejo del sistema operativo Linux

En el Departamento de Informática adscrito a la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Carabobo, no existe ningún material didáctico o software educativo o tutorial, que le permita a los integrantes de este Departamento aprender, de una forma fácil y sencilla, el manejo básico del sistema operativo Linux, específicamente en su distribución Ubuntu, por tal razón se consideró proponer un software educativo que inicie y fortalezca las debilidades ,tanto a docentes como personal administrativo y estudiantes del departamento de informática, en el manejo de dicho sistema operativo. Para llevar a cabo el desarrollo de este software se utilizó la metodología hipotético – deductivo, además por tratarse de un proyecto factible se realizó en tres fases que concluye con el diseño de la propuesta. La técnica de recolección de datos fue una entrevista cerrada aplicada a los docentes y el personal administrativo del departamento y los datos se analizó utilizando la herramienta de la hoja de cálculo disponible en el paquete de oficina del Sistema Operativo Linux. Estos resultados se interpretaron en que la necesidad de esta propuesta en el Departamento de Informática, a pesar de los conocimientos previos de la población, es cierta. Así se justifica el proyecto para cumplir los objetivos y establecer un inicio a una posible migración futura a este sistema operativo en el Departamento de Informática de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación.

In the department assigned to the faculty of education at the University of Carabobo computer, there is no teaching materials or educational or tutorial software that allow members of this department learn, in an easy and simple way, the basic management of Linux operating system, specifically Ubuntu distribution. For that reason, it was considered to develop an educational software to initiate and strengthen weaknesses, both teachers and administrative staff and students of the department, in the management of the operating system. To carry out the development of this software, hypothetical - deductive methodology was used. Due to it is a feasible project, it was done in three phases ending with the design of the proposal. The data collection technique was applied to a closed interview teachers and administrative staff of the department and the data were analyzed using the spreadsheet available on the package Linux Operating System office. These results were interpreted as the need to implement the proposal at the Department of Informatics, despite prior knowledge of the population, is true. So the project is necessary to meet the objectives and set a start to a possible future migration to this operating system in the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Education.
