    Flat share interviews represent a complex communicative genre which is particularly common among university students and is thus relevant for future exchange students. On the basis of authentic data and using the methods of genre and conversation analysis, the present study describes the specific elements of German flat share interviews, whereby the content is oriented towards the needs of learners of German as a foreign language.

    WG-Castings stellen eine anspruchsvolle kommunikative Gattung dar, die vor allem im Studierenden-Milieu verbreitet und somit für zukünftige Austausch-Studierende relevant ist. Die vorliegende Studie beschreibt auf der Grundlage authentischer Daten und mit den Methoden der Gattungs- und Gesprächsanalyse die spezifischen Elemente von deutschen WG-Castings, wobei sie sich inhaltlich an den Bedürfnissen von DaF-Lernern orientiert.
