Resumen de El equilibrio entre pasado, presente y futuro en una ciudad china: Chengdu y el ejemplo de Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li

  A través del análisis del contexto y de las causas del éxito del proyecto culturalcomercial Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, este estudio enfoca la continuidad de la cultura de Chengdu, una ciudad histórica con un importante patrimonio cultural y fuerte capacidad económica en China desde la Antigüedad. No se trata de algo casual. El desarrollo sostenible y la continua prosperidad de la ciudad tienen un contexto complejo entre lo natural y lo humano, formándose una armonía entre la naturaleza, la ciudad y la población, así como un equilibrio entre pasado, presente y futuro. Eso ha dado a la ciudad fuerza para recuperarse con rapidez ante las crisis fuertes y mantener ser el centro de la zona. La primera parte de este estudio consiste en una breve introducción de la imagen actual de Chengdu; el análisis del proyecto de Taikoo Li Chengdu en la segunda parte muestra la nueva forma de la continuidad de la cultura de la ciudad; en la tercera parte, prestamos atención al origen y el crecimiento de este lugar, donde nació una civilización independiente de la principal de China, a fin de encontrar la clave de su prosperidad interrumpida; y la última parte, con una mirada hacia el futuro de la ciudad de Chengdu, reflexiona sobre los papeles que juegan la naturaleza y la población en el desarrollo urbano. El caso de la ciudad de Chengdu puede tomarse como ejemplo muy típico del desarrollo sostenible en la edad contemporánea

  Through an analysis of the context and causes of the success of the culturalcommercial project Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, this study focuses on the continuity of the culture of Chengdu, a historic city with an important cultural heritage and strong economic capacity in China since Antiquity. It is not something casual. The sustainable development and the continuous prosperity of the city have a complex context of the natural and the human, forming a harmony between the nature, the city and the population, as well as a balance between past, present and future. This has given the city the strength to recover quickly in the face of strong crises and to remain the center of the area. The first part of this study is a brief introduction of Chengdu’s current image; the analysis of the project of Taikoo Li Chengdu in the second part shows the new form of the continuity of this city’s culture; in the third part, we pay attention to the origin and the growth of this place, where an independent civilization was born, in order to find the key to its interrupted prosperity; and the last part, with a look towards the future of Chengdu, reflects the roles played by the nature and the population in urban development. The case of the city of Chengdu will be a very typical example for the sustainable development in the contemporary age
