Resumen de Procesos sedimentarios y actividad tectónica en el registro del Pleistoceno Superior del Tossal de la Roca (Vall d ́Alcalà, Alicante, España)

Tossal de la Roca (Vall d’Alcalà, Alicante, Spain) is a rockshelter that contains an important the Upper Pleistocene and Holocene sedimentary record. The archaeological excavations carried out in its Interior Sector and the geoarchaeological studies performed in its deposits reveal a sedimentary sequence composed of several lithostratigraphic units dated by radiocarbon, that temporarily spreads from the Greenland Stadial GS 2b up to the Greenland Interstadilal GI 1c. This sequence is affected by recent tectonic activity occurred after the calibrated interval 13780-13580 cal BP.
