Resumen de Visitas pastorales y geografía histórica: la isla de Fuerteventura

  Las visitas pastorales que realizaban las autoridades eclesiásticas (obispo y séquito) por los territorios insulares poco consolidados (reducida población, escasas dotaciones y posición secundaria en su especialización productiva) representan una fuente de información poco utilizada para recrear la geografía histórica de Canarias. En este póster nos valemos de la información que contienen, para presentar las claves interpretativas más destacadas de la geografía histórica de Fuerteventura.

  The pastoral visits made by the ecclesiastical authorities (bishop and his retinue) through the insular areas unconsolidated (scant population, slender founding and a secondary position in the productive specialization) are an interesting source to relive the historical Geography of the Canary Islands. In this poster we use its information to display the most highlighted interpretative keys of the historical Geography of Fuerteventura.
