    El objetivo del presente trabajo es proponer las acciones de recuperación de la cubierta vegetal en la zona costera y la franja forestal del curso bajo del río Santa Ana, que permitan la disminución de los riesgos y los daños económicos o humanos, teniendo en cuenta los objetivos propuestos por la Tarea Vida. Se realizó un estudio exploratorio de actualización del diagnóstico del tramo costero comprendido entre Baracoa y Santa Fe en la provincia La Habana en el que se empleó el trabajo de campo, el inventario florístico, la consulta a especialistas del Servicio Estatal Forestal y a los vecinos de la comunidad. Se diseñó el sistema de acciones para la implementación de las tareas 3, 5 y 10 de la Tarea Vida. Se diseñó un sistema de acciones para mitigar los efectos del cambio climático en el tramo costero comprendido entre Baracoa y Santa Fe en la provincia La Habana que incluyó la adecuación del plan de trabajo de la Cátedra Multidisciplinaria “Medioambiente y Salud” de la Escuela Latinoamérica de Medicina y la conformación de un sistema de conferencias y trabajos de reforestación en la zona costera. El diagnóstico del tramo costero comprendido entre Baracoa y Santa Fe en la provincia La Habana permitió identificar la existencia de las problemáticas relacionadas con la forestación de esta área geográfica las que serán minimizadas a partir de la implantación de las acciones planificadas

    The objective of the present work is to propose the actions of recovery of the vegetal cover in the coastal zone and the forest strip of the low course of the Santa Ana river, that allow the reduction of the risks and the economic or human damages, taking into account the objectives proposed by the Life Task. An exploratory study was carried out to update the diagnosis of the coastal section between Baracoa and Santa Fe in the province of Havana in which the field work, the floristic inventory, the consultation of specialists of the State Forest Service and the neighbors of the community.

    The system of actions for the implementation of tasks 3, 5 and 10 of the Life Task was designed. A system of actions was designed to mitigate the effects of climate change on the coastal stretch between Baracoa and Santa Fe in the province of Havana that included the adaptation of the work plan of the Multidisciplinary Chair “Environment and Health” of the Latin American School of Medicine and the formation of a system of conferences and reforestation works in the coastal zone. The diagnosis of the coastal section between Baracoa and Santa Fe in the province of Havana allowed us to identify the existence of problems related to the afforestation of this geographical area, which will be minimized after the implementation of the planned actions
