Resumen de Violência à mulher: uma proposta cristã para um novo olhar de cuidados

  A violência doméstica está presente em todas as classes sociais e atinge a todas as pessoas, especialmente aquelas consideradas mais frágeis socialmente, como mulheres, crianças e idosos. O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre a violência praticada contra as mulheres no âmbito doméstico com vistas a reconhecer possíveis soluções que permitam interagir, baseando-se em referências teóricas da teologia, psicologia, estatística e história, a fim de propor caminhos de convivência para a criação de relações interpessoais saudáveis. A metodologia utilizada é de revisão bibliográfica com análise situacional. Percebe-se que a violência doméstica alcançou patamares tais que exigiram a intervenção legal e social, principalmente com relação à mulher. Embora as igrejas ainda tratem do assunto com timidez, muitas estão mobilizando-se para auxiliar as famílias que sofrem com a violência doméstica. Conclui-se que a violência doméstica é um grave problema que deve ser enfrentado pela sociedade e, especialmente, se torna um desafio para as igrejas, com vistas a preservar, não apenas a instituição familiar, mas a vida dos envolvidos

  The domestic violence is present in all of the social classes and it reaches everyone, especially those considered more fragile socially, such as women, children, and seniors. The purpose of this article is to reflect on violence against women in the domestic sphere, in view to recognize possible solutions that allow interaction, based on theoretical references of theology, psychology, statistics and history, in order to propose ways of coexistence for the creation of healthy interpersonal relationships. The used methodology is of bibliographical revision with analysis of situation. It is noticed that the domestic violence reached such landings that demanded the legal and social intervention, mainly regarding women. Although the churches still treat this subject with shyness, many are mobilizing to aid the families that suffer domestic violence. It concludes that domestic violence is a serious problem that should be faced by society and, especially, challenges the churches to preserve not just the family institution, but the life of those involved.
