Probablemente el origen de los centros de fitness Boutique se encuentre en Estados Unidos, con una tendencia al alza en países con economías estables. De hecho, es una de las opciones favoritas de autoempleo dentro del sector del fitness (Batrakoulis, Rieger y Santos-Rocha, 2016). Según la IHRSA (2016), las actividades que ofrecen estos centros son entrenamiento funcional, Yoga o Pilates, sesiones indoor de algún deporte específico, boxeo, artes marciales y CrossFit. Sin embargo, se desconoce el perfil de los consumidores de este tipo de centros de fitness.
Por ello, el objetivo del presente trabajo fue analizar el perfil del consumidor de centros de fitness Boutique.
The origin of Boutique Fitness Centers is probably situated in the United States, with an upward trend in countries with stable economies. In fact, it is one of the favorite options for self-employment within the fitness sector (Batrakoulis, Rieger and Santos-Rocha, 2016). According to the IHRSA (2016), the activities offered by these centers are functional training, Yoga or Pilates, indoor sessions of a specific sport, boxing, martial arts and CroosFit. However, the profile of consumers of this type of fitness centers is unknown.
