  A lo largo del presente artículo queremos acercarnos a la naturaleza del señorío mixteco desde el punto de vista del territorio, por lo que llevamos a cabo una metodología que integra información de carácter geográfico, histórico y arqueológico para identificar las relaciones que tenía Tilantongo con otros asentamientos. Por otro lado, tratamos de determinar cómo y de qué manera el territorio de este importante señorío se fue reconfigurando después de la conquista española tras la implementación de nuevas instituciones a lo largo del siglo XVI

  Throughout this article, we explain the nature of the Mixtec kingdoms from the point of view of the territory, so we conducted a methodology that integrates information from geographical, historical and archaeological nature to identify how was related Tilantongo with other settlements. On the other hand, we sought to determine how and in what way the territory of this important lordly state was reshaping after the Spanish conquest, and the implementation of new institutions along the XVI century
