    La serie de Dispensas matrimoniales del Archivo Diocesano de Zaragoza es una de las series más importantes que se conservan en esta institución, tanto a nivel cuantitativo como cualitativo, por la abundancia de información que puede aportar. Este artículo recoge la historia de cómo se generó la serie, cómo estaba organizada y cómo se ha reestructurado en aras de la conservación y de la creación de un nuevo índice para facilitar las labores de investigación.

    The marriage dispensations series of the Diocesan Archive of Saragossa are one of the most important series preservated at this institution, not only at quantitative level but also at qualitative one, because of the information abundance they may provide. This article gathers the story of how the series were originated, how they were organised and how they have been restructured in the interest of conservation and creation of a new index in order to facilitate research works.
