  En razón de los nuevos impactos que en la privacidad en general, y en especial en el derecho a la propia imagen, han provocado los avances o cambios tecnológicos, se procura reexaminar la cuestión con base en las sentencias más importantes de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos y del Tribunal Europeo de Derecho Humanos. En el trabajo se detectan algunos matices entre la jurisprudencia de estos tribunales y se procura finalmente realizar una suerte se síntesis crítica de los criterios más relevantes a los efectos de la tarea de ponderación entre el derecho a la propia imagen y otros derechos.

  In view of the new impacts that in privacy in general, and especially in the right to self-image, have caused advances or technological changes, it is sought to reexamine the issue based on the most important judgments of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights. In the work some nuances are detected between the jurisprudence of these Courts and finally it seeks to make a kind of critical synthesis of the most relevant criteria for the purpose of the weighting between the right to self- image and other rights.
