En este artículo se analiza un desconocido grabado del uruguayo Carlos Fossatti sobre Escarramán, se intenta poner de realce los vínculos entre el hipotexto quevedesco y el hipertexto plástico de Fossatti y la aportación de las jácaras de Quevedo a la especificidad del contexto artístico y sociocultural del Uruguay de los años 1960-1970.

The author of this article analyses an unknown engraving by the Uruguayan Carlos Fossatti on the topic of Escarramán, trying to emphasize the relations between the text of Quevedo and the plastic hypertext of Fossatti, and the contribution of Quevedo’s jácaras to the specificity of the artistic and sociocultural context of the Uruguay around the years 1960-1970.
