    En este artículo voy a comentar como vi el ajedrez hace cincuenta años y comolo veo ahora, con una vida por en medio. He repartido mis reflexiones en dos apartados: loque permanece y lo que cambia. En lo que permanece he puesto aquellas cosas que meatrajeron del ajedrez hace 50 años y me siguen atrayendo ahora. En lo que cambia, hedescrito aquello que el ajedrez ha progresado en este medio siglo.
