    El presente artículo pretende indagar en la consideración que muestran los estudiantes croatas de español sobre el diccionario como herramienta de consulta en la traducción. En concreto, se analiza la valoración de aquellos discentes que se hallan con un nivel lingüístico de español, entre el nivel avanzado (nivel B2) y el nivel maestría (nivel C2), según el MCER. Por ello, se parte de la premisa de que dicho alumnado se halla, entre sus competencias, la de traducir bidireccionalmente del croata al español, y viceversa.Asimismo, se persigue investigar qué herramientas lexicográficas croatas, tanto monolingües como bilingües y plurilingües, bien en formato analógico, bien en formato digital, están disponibles y cuáles utilizan los estudiantes dentro del sistema universitario para la traducción español-croata y viceversa. Además, se persiguen los objetivos de examinar qué función otorgan al diccionario y conocer con qué obstáculos se enfrentan en la traducción.

    The present article aims to investigate the consideration shown by the Croatian students of Spanish on the dictionary as a translation tool for consultation.

    Specifically, it is meant to analyze the evaluation of those students with a linguistic level of Spanish between the advanced level (level B2) and the master level (level C2), according to the CEFR. Therefore, it is based on the premise that said students tend to, among their competences, translate bidirectionally from Croatian to Spanish, and vice versa.

    Also, it aims to investigate which Croatian lexicographic tools, both monolingual, bilingual and multilingual, either in analog format or in digital one, are available and which are used by students within the university system for the Spanish-Croatian translation and vice versa. In addition, the objectives are to examine the function they see in the dictionary and to know what obstacles they face in translation.
