En este trabajo se analiza la relación que existe entre la sintaxis histórica y el estudio de los orígenes del español en América. Se estudiará si la teoría de la koineización, tal y como la estudian Fontanella de Weinberg (1992) y Germán de Granda (1994), sirve para entender la evolución de la sintaxis en el español americano a través del ejemplo del futuro de subjuntivo.

In this paper we analyze the relationship between historical syntax and the study of the origins of Latin American Spanish. We will see if the theory of koineization, like studied by Fontanella de Weinberg (1992) and Germán de Granda (1994), is useful to understand the evolution of syntax in Latin America through the history of the future subjunctive.
