El presente texto pretende iluminar el sentido de la prohibición divina de comer del fruto del conocimiento de lo bueno y lo malo (Gn 2,16-17 y 3,1-5); para ello recurre a la sabiduría real del Oriente Medio, a la israelita vinculada a la figura de Salomón, y a la reflexión sobre la inmortalidad contenida en la Epopeya de Gilgamesh.

This article aim to enlighten the meaning of the divine prohibition of eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil (Gn 2,16-17 y 3,1-5); with this purpose recurred to the authentic wisdom from Middle East, to the Israelite linked to Salomon’s representation and to the reflection about immortality content in the Epic of Gilgamesh.
