En este artículo abordamos el concepto de “Estilos de aprendizaje” y los problemas que presenta de cara a su aplicación en la clase de ELE. Comenzamos por definirlo, y ver sus distintas implementaciones. Consideraremos las principales tendencias históricas y sus versiones españolas si existen. También discutiremos las implicaciones en la clase de ELE por su relación con el estudiante, pero también con el método empleado.
Veremos, por último, su relación con la cultura de los estudiantes, y su reflejo, muchas veces inconsciente, en los estudiantes como elemento formante de la interlengua

In this paper we delve into the concept of “learning styles” and the problems derived from its use in Spanish as a Second Language class. We define the term, taking into account the different historical developments of it, and ponder benefits and problems of its application through different normalized tests. Finally, we see it under the close concepts of “methods style” and “teaching styles” with which we consider it closely intertwined. Finally we conclude stating the “learning styles” are part of the student’s interlanguage
