Resumen de Estrategias pedagógicas de alfabetización y su efecto en el aprendizaje inicial de la lecto-escritura

En Brasil, el indicador del analfabetismo funcional (INAF) se ubica en el 25% entre las personas de 15 y 64 años (Brasil, 2009). Para superar tal indicador, el gobierno amplió el período de la Enseñanza Fundamental de ocho a nueve años, ingresando así los niños a la edad de 6 años en lugar de a los 7 años. Con el objetivo de identificar las estrategias de enseñanza de la lecto-escritura y su impacto en el nivel de rendimiento en la lecto-escritura al final del primer año, se emplea un abordaje empírico-longitudinal con diferentes instrumentos cuantitativos y cualitativos en una muestra conformada por 367 niños. Los resultados permitieron distinguir el empleo de cinco tipos de estrategias pedagógicas de alfabetización con diferente alcance de aprendizaje.

In Brazil, the functional illiteracy indicator (INAF) is 25% among people aged 15 to 64 (Brazil, 2009). To overcome such an indicator, the government extended the period of Fundamental Education from eight to nine years, thus entering the children at the age of 6 years instead of at 7 years. In order to identify the strategies of teaching reading and writing and its impact on the level of performance in reading and writing at the end of the first year, an empirical-longitudinal approach is used with different quantitative and qualitative instruments in a sample formed for 367 children. The results allowed to distinguish five types of pedagogical strategies: global; mixed contructivist-alphabetic; mixed constructivist-phonological; mixed contructivist-phonemic and phonemic. The highest level of literacy was obtained by the group that received the phonemic strategy and the highest level of writing was obtained by the group that received the mixed constructivist-phonological strategy.
