Los asesinos múltiples en España: un estudio a través de las sentencias

    El asesinato múltiple es un evento que implica la muerte de múltiples víctimas por un mismo sujeto en un mismo acto. El trabajo se basó en el estudio de 30 Sentencias que habían juzgado asesinatos u homicidios múltiples ocurridos en España entre el año 2000 y 2016. La finalidad de la investigación era conocer con más detalle las características de este tipo de delitos en España: el perfil del agresor, las características de la víctima y las circunstancias del hecho delictivo; y, de ese modo, comparar los resultados con los de investigaciones anteriores. El asesinato múltiple de España resultó ser diferente al de otros países. Si bien el perfil del agresor es similar, difiere en otras características. En definitiva, el asesinato múltiple español es cometido normalmente por sujetos que se clasificaron dentro del subtipo familia-ira: individuos que matan a miembros de su familia motivados por la ira provocada por un evento estresor.

    Mass murders are events which imply the murder of multiple victims caused by one individual at one place. The current research was based on the study of the Sentences of mass murders which occurred in Spain between 2000 and 2016. The purpose of this investigation was to know, with more detail, the characteristics of this crime in Spain: the offender´s profile, the victim´s characteristics and the offense´s circumstances; and, afterwards to compare our results with those of previous investigations. Mass murder in Spain was determined to be different in comparison with other countries. Although the offender´s profile is similar, it differs in many characteristics. To sum up, mass murder in Spain is usually committed by individuals who were classified into the group of family-anger: individuals who kill members of their family, who are motivated by the anger caused by a stressful event.
