Resumen de Steuerung des Erinnerns und Vergessens?: archivische Bewertung von Schriftgut der Justiz
Which processes and legal transactions are permanently remembered, which of them are forgotten after a certain period of time? Contributing to this fundamental decision, the state archives in Germany have developed different strategies of "appraisal". Current practice and future perspectives of this complex action, co-forming the basic sources of historical research, should invite to discussion and agreement among archives, justice and (legal) history.
