Actividad física y su relación con la agresividad, impulsividad y uso de videojuegos en estudiantes adolescentes

      El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las posibles relaciones entre la práctica de actividad física y los componentes impulsivos y agresivos de la personalidad, así como la utilización de internet y los videojuegos en adolescentes. Para ello, se utilizó un diseño transversal-observacional. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 40 alumnos con unas edades comprendidas entre los 14 y 17 años. Para la recogida de datos se utilizó la Escala de Impulsividad Barrat (BIS 11-c), el Cuestionario de Agresividad de Buss y Perry, IPAQ-A y el Cuestionario de Experiencias Relacionadas con los Videojuegos. Los resultados muestran que el 70% de los sujetos realiza actividad física. Por último, se halló una relación inversa entre la práctica de actividad física y el componente agresividad, más concretamente, en la agresividad verbal (0,04), hostilidad (0,00) y la puntuación total (0,00). En conclusión, podemos decir que existe relación entre las variables actividad física, agresividad verbal y hostilidad.

      The aim of the study was to analyze the possible relationships between the practice of physical activity and the impulsive and aggressive personality components, as well as the use of internet and video games in adolescents. For this, a transversal-observational design was used. The sample consisted of 40 students with ages between 14 and 17 years. The Barrat Impulsivity Scale (BIS 11-c), the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire, IPAQ-A and the Videogames Experiences Questionnaire were used to collect data. The results show that 70% of the subjects perform physical activity. Finally, an inverse relationship was found between the practice of physical activity and the aggressiveness component, more specifically, verbal aggression (0.04), hostility (0.00) and total score (0.00). In conclusion, we can say that there is a relationship between the variables physical activity, verbal aggression and hostility.
