  • Resumen
    • An artificial iris that automatically opens and closes in response to light just like the ones in people's eyes, could improve cameras and, eventually, help repair damaged human eyes. The iris is the colored part of the eye and controls the pupil, the hole that lets light inside the eyeball. In bright light, the iris contracts to shrink the pupil, protecting the sensitive retina which sends visual signals to the brain. In the dark, the iris opens to let in more light
