La introducción del ajedrez en educación infantil: una experiencia

    El ajedrez es un juego muy completo y con mucha riqueza en diferentes ámbitos y aspectos; por este motivo ya no es de extrañar que las escuelas apuesten por él como una herramienta pedagógica para aplicar en colegios como materia lectiva.

    En este artículo presento la experiencia que llevé a cabo durante el curso 2012-2013 en una escuela del Vendrell, en la cual introduje el ajedrez a un grupo de niños/as de educación infantil, concretamente a los niveles de P4 y P5.

    El proyecto lo valoro positivamente y me permite extraer algunas interesantes conclusiones que pretendo compartir ahora con el lector, con el principal objetivo de difundir el arte del ajedrez como un recurso a tener muy presente en la docencia actual.

    Chess is a very complete game and it has a lot of wealth in different areas and aspects; for this reason, it isn’t surprising that schools invest in it as a teaching tool to apply in schools as instructional subject.

    In this article, I present the experience that I took place during 2012-2013 academic year at school in Vendrell, which I introduced chess to a group of children of child education, particulary at the levels of P4 and P5.

    I value the project positively and I can extract interesting conclusions that I intend to share with the reader, with the main aim to spread the art of chess as a resource to keep in mind in the current teaching.
