• This paper aims to combine and synchronise different sources documenting the creation and performance of Jean Tinguely's "Homage to New York". These documents include a timing script by the artist, a detailed text by his collaborator Billy Klüver, photography, films, construction drawings, recipes, archival documents and oral history, which have been combined to put the choreography of the performance into context.
