These lines have not the intention to briefly analyze a work so rich, complex and varied as the one from Raoul Hausmann. Perhaps they only aims to leave suspicions about the vital importance of their polyhedral figure and his many contributions to the evolution of arts in the first decades of the last century. Therefore, we are in front of a person who consider underrated in life and yet not too recognized today, even after the last revisions of his figure and works done after his death in 1971. His vital events, sometimes more known that his own work, and a lonely personality far away from the city and their social relations, has contributed to this omission. This article aims to link the Hausmann ’ figure with the one from other artists, friends and personages of his time, and also be aware of the many and valuable aspects dealt in the work of this author, beyond of the usually knowns like photography and the antropological studies about Ibiza island. It will be, at the final, the own Hausmann- not without surprise - who kick us of doubt about the hierarchy and importance of his activities.
