Una autobiografía fantástica de Norah Lange: Antes que mueran

Abstract

In 1944 Norah Lange (Buenos Aires, 1905-1972) published her rst short story book in terms of an autobiography, Antes que mueran. It is a transitional and experimental work, of strong avant-garde features, where the fantastic ingredient and the ambiguity are fundamental traits. With this contribution, Lange joins the group of new Argentinian narrators, who emerged at the beginning of the 40's, following the fantastic line promoted by Borges.

En 1944 Norah Lange (Buenos Aires, 1905-1972) publica su primer libro de relatos, en clave autobiográca, Antes que mueran. Es una obra de transición, experimental, de fuertes rasgos vanguardistas, donde el ingrediente fantástico y la ambigüedad son notas fundamentales. Con esta aportación, Lange se suma al grupo de nuevos narradores argentinos, surgidos a comienzos de los años 40, en la línea fantástica promocionada por Borges.
