Resumen de Introducción al estudio de la «dimensionalidad» y su aplicación al concepto pacha en el antiguo Perú

  En este artículo se presenta un nuevo punto de vista para analizar un viejo problema de la historiografía del antiguo Perú: el concepto de tiempo. Hasta el momento los estudios han examinado el concepto de pacha vinculado a la percepción temporal. Se ha llegado a la máxima de ligar el espacio con el tiempo, aspecto que, como se mostrará es de suma importancia, pero, se han seguido las pautas de la investigación cuantitativa. Es decir, se analizaba un tiempo cuantitativo, nos centrábamos en las estaciones, en la geografía para «atar» el tiempo, las fechas, el calendario, la obsesión por la búsqueda de una temporalidad lineal de los Incas que habían gobernado (una monarquía temporal) etc. Con este artículo se expone un punto de vista que no es incompatible con el preestablecido hasta el momento, el pacha cuantitativo, sino que complementa su dimensión, con un pacha cualitativo. Un estudio que renueva las investigaciones sobre cosmovisión inca, partiendo del análisis de las fuentes primarias y los puntos de vista no heredados: presentamos una introducción a lo que hemos denominado estudio de la dimensionalidad.

  In this article a new point of view is presented to analyze an old problem of historiography of ancient Peru: the concept of time. So far studies have examined the concept of pacha linked to temporal perception. It has reached the maximum of linking the space over time, something that, as will be shown is paramount, but has followed the guidelines of quantitative research. That is, they analyzed a quantitative time, we focused on the seasons, in geography to «tie up» time, date, calendar, the obsession with finding a linear temporality of the Incas who had ruled (a temporary monarchy) etc. With this article a point of view that is not incompatible with the preset so far, the quantitative pacha is exposed, but complements its size, with a qualitative pacha. An study that renews research on Inca worldview, based on the analysis of primary sources and points of view not inherited: We present an introduction to what we have called study of dimensionality.
