El petróleo y su industria no escapan a esta situación dilemática y conflictiva sino que, por el contrario los procesos que se desarrollan en su seno forman parte esencial de la génesis del problema global del país.

But it is necessary to make the signaling to be able to highlight another obvious circumstance but that, for that very reason, is not brought to the consciousness of the diagnoses, but is left as a structural background peculiar to our reality, but with respect to which only The "technicians in the field" say: It is the fact that oil and its industry do not escape this dilemma and conflict situation, but, on the contrary, the processes that take place within it are an essential part of the genesis of the global problem from the country. Consequently, the decisions made in this matter in the present conjuncture will affect for a long time the courses, not only of the oil industry, but of the entire Venezuelan society. This is, in our view, the entity that is discussed: the magnitude of the resources whose destiny is at stake constitute a sufficient critical mass to leave a deep imprint on the socioeconomic structures of the country, as it has done throughout this century, Starting from there analyze the importance of oil economic policy as a way for growth and sustainable development in the country.
